Morning Fall Wedding – Becca and Matt

Morning Fall Wedding

Becca and Matt – October 5, 2024

Becca and Matt’s morning fall wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a heartfelt celebration filled with personal touches and beautiful autumn hues.  They chose elegant cream and dusty sage fabric, paired with our delicate lavender florals and a romantic candle package, setting a serene and inviting atmosphere for their special day.
Becca looked stunning in a sleeveless dress, the layers of tulle cascading into a graceful short train, capturing the soft morning light. Matt complemented her look with a grey and lavender plaid suit, a lavender shirt, a purple tie, and chic silver sunglasses with a purple tint, adding a stylish flair to the ceremony.
Before walking down the aisle, they shared a poignant moment reading their vows to each other on opposite sides of the bridal suite door, their hands clasped together—a touching symbol of their connection. Matt’s emotions were visible, his lip quivering as he got choked up during the exchange.
In a special tribute, Becca gave her dad a specially embroidered handkerchief, a keepsake of their special day. Her dad then proudly walked her down the aisle and carried the rings, adding to the day’s family-centered celebrations.
The ceremony, performed by his friend, was infused with meaning as a family member blessed their union with a prayer, surrounding them with love and well-wishes from all who attended.
Congratulations, Becca and Matt! Your wedding beautifully combined personal details with the charm of East Tennessee’s outdoor beauty. Here’s to a future as vibrant and filled with love as your wedding day!
From the Bride
Matt was one of my instructors in the police academy in 2018. We clashed a little at first but years of working in this career brought us back together. Our first date was a simple Jeep ride, out to our hometown, overlooking the city from a bluff. We laughed and shared stories for hours.
Matt proposed to me at Missouri Botanical Gardens. We had been talking about it for months. He had gone out of state for a training where he got some advice from some colleagues and decided “why not now?”  We decided to get married in East Tennessee because of the landscape. I have had my heart set on the mountains for years. We also want to tour the Bourbon Trail, which will be a first for us both. On our wedding day we look forward to connecting our two families, becoming one.
We enjoy relaxing on the patio with Bourbon and a cigar, going to the movies, concerts, and musicals.
