Moody Micro Wedding
Melissa and Aaron – September 16, 2023
Let me take you on a journey to the heart of the Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, where Melissa and Aaron cast a spell with their moody micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. Get ready for some breathtaking beauty!
The chapel was transformed into an enchanting wonderland, dressed in rich black and burgundy fabric that perfectly complemented our moody florals. It was a sight to behold! Melissa, our stunning bride, defied her own expectation by looking absolutely breathtaking in her strapless dress paired with a mid-length veil. Can you believe it? This gorgeous redhead isn’t a fan of photos of herself, but on her wedding day, she was simply radiant.
Aaron, the dapper groom, rocked black pants with a light pink shirt, black suspenders, and a classic black bowtie. His style was on point and added a touch of sophistication to their day. Their adult children played significant roles in the wedding. Melissa’s son walked her down the aisle, a touching moment filled with love and support. Her daughter took the stage as the officiant, and the others served as bridesmaids and groomsmen. It was truly a family affair that made their day even more special.
As if their love story needed any more drama, Mother Nature decided to join the party. The rainy day added to the overall feel of the wedding, creating a moody and romantic atmosphere that perfectly matched their theme. Melissa and Aaron’s micro wedding was an intimate celebration of love amidst the stunning backdrop of the Smoky Mountains. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the most magical moments happen in the most unexpected ways. Cheers to the newlyweds!
From the Bride:
We met online 4 years ago. Our first date was amazing… dinner and drinks and a lot of conversation and sparks! Aaron proposed in the rain where we had our first date. We decided to have an East Tennessee wedding because my daughter lived in Tennessee for a few years and we love it there. I am looking forward to becoming Mrs. Walter, of course! For fun, we are both movie buffs and foodies. We love road trips and trying out new restaurants!
