Mini Wedding in November

Katie and Cade joined us with their family and friends for a mini wedding in November. They dressed the chapel in hunter green and white fabric with our white florals. The green fabric set off his fantastic green suit and her gorgeous red hair. They were the sweetest! Congratulations, Katie and Cade!

With a swipe right on tinder, it’s a modern love story. I was looking for a date to a company gala, which Cade never attended because he was underway with the navy. We found love when neither of us were looking for it. We dated for a bit then survived a 7 month deployment. After that we got pregnant with our beautiful daughter Eloise, and it’s been a crazy ride since. For our first date, Cade picked me up in a blacked out window Tahoe. Immediately thought I would be murdered. Out steps a bald man in a red sweater just cheesing up a storm. He took me to Cheesecake Factory where I insisted on paying the bill because women can do anything right? Then he took me for ice cream which I let him pay for. We were constantly together for days after.

Cade planned the proposal with his mother, but in the meantime I told him I was pregnant. So right after Christmas with the family, where we spilled the news I was pregnant, they took us to a scenic overlook for “family pictures”. He got down on one knee and proposed, but I was crying to hard to say yes. Those pregnancy hormones am I right? We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because we wanted something small and intimate. A place for us to enjoy our time and create memories to look back on. I am looking forward to seeing Cades face when I walk down the aisle with Eloise.

For fun, we love to find a show together and binge watch the heck out of it. We also love just going to the movies together.
