Micro Wedding in the Fall

You may think a micro wedding in the fall sounds like a good idea, and you’d be right!! Tia and Nick joined us for our second wedding of the day — the weather was soooo nice. They dressed the chapel in blush and burgundy fabric with the blush and marsala florals. Tia brought some extra fun decorations to add a little personal flair. These two are blending families, and their kids all seemed super excited about the big day. I even got a hug from the little guy. Congratulations, Tia and Nick!!

From the Bride:

We met through a mutual friend. I went to high school with her and he worked with her years later. Since we were in a long distance relationship, during the peak of the Coronavirus, we shared margaritas and nachos from a small restaurant in Knoxville in the car. We sat and talked for HOURS. We both knew that night that this is a once in a lifetime feeling and we couldn’t let it pass us by. From there, we spent every other week together, either in Knoxville or in New Orleans. That quickly led to every week until we ultimately decided to make New Orleans OUR home.

He proposed – over margaritas and nachos from a small restaurant in New Orleans where we were parked and talking for hours. It was so uniquely *us* that it was the most perfect moment. We are both from East Tennessee. Our closest family and friends still live there so we wanted something that felt like home. I’m most looking forward to saying I DO!! Finally getting our forever. We both love fall and Tennessee. So our “Fall in Love” theme at home feels perfect.

We have a lot of kids! We typically spend our free time with them making memories. We try to have date night weekly. We love Mexican foods we typically end up there. If we are feeling adventurous though, we like to try new restaurants.
