Patti and Mike – October 10, 2020
Married in Tennessee
10-10-2020 was a big day for couples getting married in Tennessee… Our first couple was Patti and Mike who came all the way from northern Indiana near Chicago. These two met as EMTs, and they are still fighting the good fight. She got him a sweet keychain as a present showing the number of days they’d been together up to the wedding–super sweet!! Patti decorated the chapel with some pumpkins she got crafty with to make it look festive and adorable, and Mandie Bakes Custom Cakes showed up with a gorgeous cake! Congratulations, Patti and Mike!
From the Bride:
We met at work. We both are EMTs and work for the same ambulance service. We didn’t have an official first date, we just starting talking, texting and eventually just found ourselves hanging out together all the time. Mike proposed. He took me on a walk at a nature preserve and proposed on the walk.
We wanted a romantic get away by ourselves to elope, what better place then the beautiful smoky mountains in the fall. We are looking forward to it just being the two of us sharing a very intimate moment. We chose the date because 10+10=20. It’s super cool!!
For fun? We have kids! They keep us incredibly busy!
