Lord of the Rings Inspired Micro Wedding – Teddy and Ryan

Teddy and Ryan – February 4, 2023

Lord of the Rings Inspired Micro Wedding

Teddy and Ryan joined us for a Lord of the Rings inspired micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in pink and blush fabric with our moody florals. She looked epic in her flowy dress with a faux fur wrap, and he looked extra handsome in black on black. They had all sorts of fun Lord of the Rings details — I especially loved the little lego characters–and some fabulously dressed friends. Congratulations, Teddy and Ryan!
From the Bride:
We met through work. We were both deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office at the time (now he’s a Sergeant and I am a Detective). And he was my Field Training Officer (FTO) when I first started. Once I finished my training, we exchanged numbers and started talking frequently. That then turned into meeting up for gym dates. Which turned into dinner and real dates. I think there was always a spark there and we just couldn’t stay away from each other. There honestly was no fancy proposal. Neither of us are fancy people. We’ve been together for over 6 years now. It was more like hey I love you, you love me, we’ve been together a while, let’s do this thing? And it went from there!
We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because my parents live in TN, and we both fall in love with the state each time we visit. There’s something about the mountain air that just cleanses the soul! I saw a picture of the chapel on Facebook one day and fell in love with it. We are both looking forward to getting to spend time with both of our families. We’ve never had them all together, so we are excited for that. But mostly, we are best friends, and we can’t wait to spend our lives together. It will be an awesome day. And the beautiful pictures of course!! The date (2.4.23) was chosen because we wanted a winter wedding. Something about the look in pictures just made us happy. And I like the number 4.
We are both a little dorky. So for fun we love to play video games together. But it has to have base building for him and animal taming for me. We tried to start up a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with our families! But it never really took off. Lol. We did dress up and go to the Renaissance Festival last year and had a blast! We can’t wait to go every year. We also love to check out the local gastropubs and breweries. Or curl up in bed together with a bottle of wine and watch trash TV.
