January Mini Wedding – Amanda and Jake

January Mini Wedding

Amanda and Jake – January 25, 2025

Amanda and Jake’s January mini wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a beautiful celebration of love and reconnection!  They created a romantic atmosphere by adorning the chapel in elegant black and burgundy fabric, complemented by our moody florals and glowing candle package.
Amanda looked stunning in a unique ensemble featuring a black mesh mini dotted top and a flowing white tulle skirt, cinched with a blingy bridal belt. Her look was completed with a long veil edged in lace. Her cousin, who helped her get ready, also provided the adorable junior bridesmaids and ring bearer—her own children.
The ground still bore traces of recent snowfall, adding a magical winter wonderland feel to their special day. Jake’s face, lighting up with a bright smile as Amanda walked down the aisle, spoke volumes of their deep connection, rekindled from their school days and reconnected through Facebook.
Their wedding day was not just a union of hearts but a celebration of a journey that brought them back together. Congratulations, Amanda and Jake! Here’s to a lifetime filled with the same joy and love that lit up your wonderful winter wedding day!
From the Bride
We were friends in middle school and high school and we reconnected years later. Our first date was at Dave and Busters. It was the best date I had ever been on and I knew when he kissed me that night that I wanted to be with him for the rest of my life.
Jake proposed to me at a restaurant called the Melting Pot. He asked me did I want to become an Arthur and I said of course. He got down on one knee and I threw my pocketbook on the ground and immediately started crying.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee at Chapel in the Hollow because we wanted something private and meaningful and we have some great memories in the mountains.  On our wedding day I am most looking forward to seeing Jake’s face when I walk down the aisle. We are foodies and love to eat. We love to go to the movies or hang out with each other at home.
