Intimate Smoky Mountain Wedding at Gatlinburg Wedding Chapel

Kendal and Nick chose a beautiful late winter / early spring day for a wedding at our little chapel!

From the bride:

We met when I was in high school. My best friend dated his best friend. We were never single at the same time, but I always thought he hung the moon. Nick went away to college and I got married and had my daughter, Oakleigh. Life brought unplanned changes, as it often does, and I went through a divorce. When I got Facebook after my divorce, and saw that he was single, I POUNCED lol :). He had recently finished law school and moved back home. I sent him a message on Facebook and we have pretty much been together ever since. He treats Oakleigh like a princess, which makes me love him even more. I really don’t know what I did to deserve him.

For our firdst date, Nick came over to my house after Oakleigh had gone to bed. We talked for hours and ended up hanging out 4 nights in a row. Nick proposed to Oakleigh and I both at the riverfront downtown Henderson where we live on March 16, 2018. He led us to a spot that overlooks the river and roses on the park bench. His best friend had set up a virtual 4D camera to record the entire thing, but forgot to hit record button lol.

We chose Gatlinburg for the wedding because Gatlinburg was the first place we went on vacation together. It is a vacation spot that both we and our families have loved visiting over the years. Typical date nights for us include watching Dateline and other murder mysteries. We love trying out new restaurants. We also enjoying traveling to Mexico and Disney World.
