Julie and Josh’s intimate elopement at Chapel in the Hollow was a perfect blend of elegance and romance, set against the charming backdrop of blush and white fabric, complemented beautifully by our blush and bashful florals.

Julie looked absolutely stunning in an off-the-shoulder sheath dress featuring a chic mini train, paired with adorable white shoes adorned with tulle bows—every detail thoughtfully chosen to enhance her graceful presence. Josh was dapper in dress pants and a pale pink dress shirt, tied together with a blush tie, mirroring the soft tones of their wedding decor.

The ceremony was made even more special with a sweet two-tiered cake and the melodious strums of a guitarist, setting a romantic ambiance that resonated throughout their special day.

They also incorporated a meaningful unity ceremony, symbolizing their coming together as a couple, which added a deeply personal touch to their exchange of vows.

From the Bride

We feel two heavenly angels, Andrea(my sister), and Kyle(Josh’s brother) must have put us on the path to meet one another. My sister’s words just prior to passing were that she believed I should one day get married. Soon after her passing I met Josh and our lives have been complete since and full of love.

Today, on my wedding day, I wear a memory bracelet, Andreas husband gifted me with Andreas’ blue birthstone. Kyle and Andrea are in our hearts. All of our loved ones and friends are in our hearts today as we make this commitment to love one another for eternity. Josh has repeatedly told me the sweetest words, I am taking you to the end of this life with me and beyond. He is my true love.

For our first date we met on a Sunday afternoon for pizza at 450North Brewing Company. Josh was so tall and handsome and I was in love almost immediately. His kind gentle soul and heart seals the deal! Josh had flowers on the seat of his truck he gave me at the end of the date. He is the sweetest!

Josh proposed to me at midnight on New Years Eve….and then has asked me to marry him every day since and told me not to forget.We decided to elope for many reasons. The mountains are beautiful, this venue and the package offering is great. This is also second marriages for both of us. Our parents are older and our kids are in college and this is an intimate way to have a beautiful meaningful memory… we will have a reception in October with family.

On our wedding day I am looking forward to marrying the love of my life and looking forward to the day. Just enjoying the moment. We decided to get married on the 20th because it sounded neat…Josh farms and we planned it around harvest season so he was not in the fields too.

For fun we garden, camp, have an ATV, backroad..I like to cook, smoke meats and we both work a lot and very hard so we love to be around one another and have family over at the farm.
