Maelynn and Michael – October 7, 2020
Getting Married in Tennessee
Getting married in Tennessee was something these two decided on because of the pandemic situation, and we are so glad they chose to allow us to help them celebrate! Maelynn and Michael were our second elopement on November 4th. Her details are soooo gorgeous. This gold dress and the Badgley Mischka shoes make her look super luxe!! This woman rocked her look. Congratulations, Maelynn and Michael!
From the Bride:
We met the way many do these days – online. I messaged Michael on Facebook, initially to chat about one of our common interests (Game of Thrones), but found very quickly that our common interests went well beyond our favorite television show. We were hours apart from one another, but it was clear that wasn’t going to be a hurdle too big.
We had our first date just a week later and since then, we’ve not gone a single day without hours of talking and laughing together. It was evident to both of us, that this was going to be our lifelong love story. We were engaged just about six months later.
Getting married during a global pandemic posed many challenges. So, we decided to tie the knot in a private ceremony, in a beautiful setting, a short trip away from home. The Smoky Mountains fit that bill.
Exactly one year from the day I first reached out to Michael on social media, we made it official and married in a beautiful ceremony at the Chapel in the Hollow in Seymour, TN. Celebrations with family will come later, once things hopefully get more back to normal, but until then, it’s onward and upward for the couple!
