Forest Micro Wedding – Karen and Ian

Karen and Ian brought their two little ones and their families on September 18th’s dark and not so stormy evening for a moody forest micro wedding. Karen’s dress was a huge princessy concoction of loveliness, and she looked AMAZING in it. Ian was rocking a navy suit with a cranberry paisley tie he picked out himself. These two made a striking duo (and adorable kiddos). Congratulations, Karen and Ian!!

From the Bride:

We met through a mutual friend with who we both worked with. The first date was very nice. We went to dinner. There was a lot of chemistry between us!

Ian proposed! We went hiking on a waterfall trail at Clifty Falls. We had a tour guide that showed us all the different waterfalls and at the end he took our picture and Ian got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was so sweet. He was nervous.

We originally wanted to elope with just us and our two kids in Colorado but we also wanted our parents to be there and they didn’t want to go to Colorado so we decided on Tennessee. I looked up some places online and found Chapel in the Hollow. We came down and took a tour and fell in love! We wanted to get married on November 18 the day we met back in 2014 but that was a Wednesday! So we decided on September 15 since it was a little easier for ourselves and our family to make it!

We are most looking forward to just finally being married! Finally making it official. Spending the rest of our lives together and in love. 

We like to watch lifetime like and or reality tv shows. We also like to go hiking and shopping. We love to spend time with our children. We like to play uno and other board games together. We’re both very competitive!
