Forest Fairytale Elopement
For our first wedding of the day, Michael and Savannah joined us for a forest fairytale elopement. They chose to use our moody florals which looked great against his outfit. She looked lovely in her lacy dress with her lilac hair and tattoos peeking through the sleeves. She chose to go barefoot to feel the energy of the earth during her ceremony. These two are planning to tattoo elvish wedding bands on their fingers — as a Tolkien nerd myself, I love this idea! Congratulations, Michael and Savannah!!
From the Bride:
We met via a dating app while I was living in Bisbee, AZ and he was at Fort Huachuca for training with the army. We bonded over our shared love for Bisbee and all things mountains and the west 🙂 and also tacos. We met before the world shut down in 2020 and the rest is history! The first date was tacos at our favorite Sonoran taco joint in Sierra vista, AZ until we shut the place down. 🙂
We were separated for a year while he was in Korea and I had to hang back due to COVID and it was tough, but there isn’t anything we can’t do together. He will be deploying for six months shortly after our wedding with y’all.
Mike proposed off the Cumberland river in front of the Nashville skyline with lit candles. We love the mountains. After living in Arizona and mountain towns for so long, it’s a soft spot for us. 🙂 We are super stoked to get the peak of fall foliage!
October 21st is my aunts birthday and she was like a mother to me. She passed away from cancer in 2013 and I know she’ll be smiling down on us 🙂 I’m bringing one of her lady bug brooches (she loved ladybugs) to fasten to either my flora crown or dress and would LOVE close up pictures of it to capture her in our special day.We are pretty spontaneous but love anything to do with nature and hiking. We love books and art museums too and catching some good beer or food somewhere too.
