Fall Tennessee Micro Wedding

Christa and Rob joined us today for a fall Tennessee micro wedding with a few of their favorite people including a 2 month old bundle of joy! They dressed the chapel in white and champagne fabric with our ombre pink florals. She had on an amazing dress–look at all of that lace– and a fun cathedral length veil to play with! He was decked out in a black suit (oh so classic), and he teared up when he saw her in her dress for the first time. They had to deal with some crazy winds for the last bit of her portraits, and poor Christa was shivering with goosebumps everywhere, but they still managed to look oh so lovely. Congratulations, Christa and Rob!!

From the Bride:

We met through friends. Rob’s good friend Michael talked him into going to meet his friend’s (Sheila) daughter (Christa) for a game night during the pandemic. So what was it like? A little awkward and also very chaperoned… lol

For the proposal, Rob and Christa went out for a nice “mothers day” dinner. Even though it was a cold wet night Rob insisted on a walk through waterfront park. While walking in the park Rob got down on one knee in a tree grove….

We decided on East Tennessee because it is near home, we wanted an outdoor location and we wanted to keep things simple. We are most looking forward to making our family official and celebrating our love for one another. We enjoy camping and mountain biking. Typical date night – take out tacos and a movie at home.
