Fall Smoky Mountain Micro Wedding – Stephanie and Andrew

Fall Smoky Mountain Micro Wedding

Stephanie and Andrew – October 3, 2025

An Intimate, Emotional Celebration in the East Tennessee Mountains

If your dream wedding includes autumn leaves crunching underfoot, golden light peeking through the trees, and heartfelt vows exchanged in a private woodland chapel, Stephanie and Andrew’s fall Smoky Mountain micro wedding is everything you’ve been dreaming of.

Tucked away in the Tennessee hills at Chapel in the Hollow, their wedding was intimate, emotional, and completely magical — the perfect example of how a micro wedding can still feel big in all the right ways.

A Cozy Autumn Chapel Setting

Stephanie and Andrew chose to say “I do” beneath the canopy of our forest chapel, styling it in navy fabric paired with our elegant white florals and the candle and lantern lighting package. The result? A romantic, moody-yet-cozy autumn vibe that looked stunning against the changing leaves and natural wood backdrop of the chapel.

Navy is one of our favorite color choices for fall — it brings just the right amount of contrast while complementing the earthy tones of the season. The glow from the candles and lanterns added that warm ambiance every fall wedding needs.

Stephanie: Radiant in Lace & Comfort

Stephanie looked absolutely radiant in her off-the-shoulder gown from Essence of Australia, sourced from Bridal Suite Boutique. With delicate floral appliqués, long sleeves, and a flowing train, the dress was romantic perfection for an outdoor autumn wedding.

But our favorite bridal detail? Her lacy Converse sneakers — stylish, practical, and totally her. A reminder that comfort and elegance can go hand-in-hand (or foot-in-foot 😉) for your big day.

Stephanie was joined by her cousin and best friend to help her get ready, adding extra warmth and laughter to the pre-ceremony moments.

Andrew: Simple & Stylish Fall Groom Attire

Andrew looked sharp and season-ready in tan dress pants and a blue suit jacket, paired with a big smile and an even bigger heart. His outfit struck the perfect balance between laid-back and elevated — great inspo for grooms planning an outdoor fall wedding in the Smokies.

And the emotions? Let’s just say he felt this day deeply — and it showed in the most beautiful way.

A Ceremony Full of Heart

Their ceremony was pure magic. Stephanie’s son proudly walked her down the aisle, and you could feel the emotion rising with every step. They exchanged personal vows that had every guest misty-eyed — and Stephanie even surprised Andrew with a custom hat embroidered with a quote from her vows. 🧢💬

Then, Andrew turned and read vows directly to Stephanie’s son — cue the tears. 😭 That moment captured the essence of what a family-first wedding is all about.

They also incorporated the cord of three strands ritual into the ceremony, a beautiful visual representation of the strength found in faith, love, and unity. Learn more about this symbolic tradition in our micro wedding guide.

Bubble Exit & Breathtaking Portraits

After sealing their vows with a kiss, the couple celebrated with a joyful bubble exit — one of our favorite alternatives to a traditional send-off. It’s simple, fun, and incredibly photogenic.

We captured family portraits at the chapel surrounded by floating bubbles, then whisked Stephanie and Andrew off to the field with the mountain view for some golden hour magic. The September sun filtered through the trees and mountains, bathing them in warm light — the kind of glow that feels like love made visible. 🌄💫
