Fall Mountain Elopement – Patricia and Jake

Fall Mountain Elopement

Patricia and Jake – October 25, 2024

Patricia and Jake’s fall mountain elopement at Chapel in the Hollow was a picturesque celebration, perfectly capturing the essence of their love story.  They chose cream fabric and our bohemian florals to dress the chapel, creating a warm, inviting backdrop for their intimate ceremony.
Patricia was absolutely stunning in a long-sleeved lace dress, featuring delicate buttons on the back that her mom, Cindy, carefully fastened, adding a touching family moment to their preparations. Her look was flawlessly completed with makeup and hair styled by Southern Sirens, embodying bridal elegance.  Jake complemented her beautifully in dark pants paired with a light blue shirt and dark blue tie, striking a balance between casual and formal for their mountain setting.
An extra layer of meaning was added to their special day as they celebrated on the anniversary of their first date 11 years ago—a delightful surprise for Patricia when she booked the date. Her dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle, enhancing the emotional depth of their ceremony.
They also brought a charming cake from Cakes by Bakin’ Bishop, adorned with cute forest details, set upon a wooden cake plate surrounded by wooden candle holders, perfect for their rustic theme.  After exchanging their vows, the newlyweds and their family captured joyful moments in front of the chapel before venturing into the forest and then into the field. The golden light of the setting sun cast a magical glow on the mountains, providing a breathtaking backdrop for their photos.
Congratulations, Patricia and Jake! Your elopement was not just a declaration of your love but a beautiful reflection of your journey together. May your life continue to be filled with unexpected, joyful surprises and the same warmth and love that filled your wedding day!
From the Bride
We met when we were set up on a blind date in college. For our first date we went to a movie and dinner. Jake proposed overlooking Union Station and the city in Kansas City.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because we wanted a fall inspired wedding with beautiful scenery in nature. On our wedding date we are looking forward to the beautiful leaves and fall weather.  We picked this date because it will be 11 years to the date from our first date.

We have recently gotten into golfing. It’s a great way to get outside and spend time together.
