Fall Micro Wedding in the Smoky Mountains – Kaitlyn and Michael

Fall Micro Wedding in the Smoky Mountains

Kaitlyn and Michael – October 28, 2023

Love was in the crisp, autumn air as Kaitlyn and Michael celebrated their intimate micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow in the heart of the breathtaking Smoky Mountains. They chose a palette of warm, earthy colors, dressing the chapel in rich champagne and textured rust fabrics, beautifully accented with bohemian florals and an array of candles and lanterns. The result was a rustic, cozy atmosphere that perfectly matched the season.
Kaitlyn looked absolutely radiant on her special day. Her illusion sleeve dress featured a low neckline and a mid-length train, exuding an aura of timeless elegance.  Michael was the epitome of charm and sophistication in his brown suit, which harmonized beautifully with the warm, rustic ambiance.
One delightful detail that added a touch of whimsy to the celebration was the number of guests who donned flat caps, giving the occasion a touch of old-world charm.
Kaitlyn’s sister played an invaluable role in helping her prepare for the momentous day, ensuring that every detail was just perfect.  As the time drew near, Kaitlyn’s parents proudly escorted their beloved daughter down the aisle, creating a heartfelt and emotional moment.
The ceremony was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal touch. Kaitlyn and Michael included a unity candle ritual, symbolizing their union and the bright future that lies ahead. The sight of the two flames becoming one was a poignant representation of their love.  With the exchange of vows and rings complete, the newlyweds were joyfully showered with bubbles as they made their way back down the aisle as a married couple. It was a magical and heartwarming exit.
A first toast followed, as Kaitlyn and Michael raised their glasses to celebrate their new life together. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the chapel area was filled with love and happiness. Of course, the stunning backdrop of the Smoky Mountains provided the perfect setting for an array of breathtaking photos with gorgeous fall foliage, capturing the essence of their beautiful autumn wedding.
As Kaitlyn and Michael begin their journey as husband and wife, we wish them a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and countless wonderful memories. Cheers to the newlyweds!

From Bride and Groom:

Mike and Kaitlyn met at Duck Creek Golf Course after the Maid of Honor (Kaitlyn’s sister) asked him if he was single. Megan (Maid of Honor) pointed out to Mike who Kaitlyn was and it was love at first site. Their first date was just sitting around a campfire getting to know each other. Mike proposed at the tree farm on the lot of their future home. It was a snowy winter day and the trees were covered with snow. They both have a love for the outdoors. And wanted an intimate setting in the mountains with their closest friends and family. They are looking froward to celebrating with the people that you love and marrying the love of your life. For fun, they enjoy fishing, boating, and golfing. They like to try new foods and they love to spend time with their friends and family.
