Fall Elopement – Delilah and Andrew

Delilah and Andrew – October 19, 2020

Fall Elopement

For our first wedding today, Delilah and Andrew joined us for their fall elopement. Delilah looked stunning in her dress from Lulus, and Andrew’s blue suit with gold buttons had a fun, vintage vibe. These two have been together close to ten years and are excited for the next chapter in their lives together. Congratulations, Delilah and Andrew!!
From the Bride:
We met working along side one another. I remember him asking me out on a date a few times before I gave in. To be honest I wanted to say yes the first time… Being that we worked together, I attempted to keep our relationship platonic. His charisma and determination eventually caved me and I said yes…
Although we worked with one another, our first date had me a bit nervous. We went to play pool and have a few drinks. I especially enjoyed him putting his arms around me trying to show me different techniques. We listened to music, enjoyed getting to know one another better on a personal level.
Andrew proposed. It was October 2019 right before my birthday. He came home from work and gave me an early birthday gift to open. He attempted to keep me in suspense as it was double and triple wrapped. I managed to get to a box, a ring size box that he grabbed, got on one knee and proposed… Tears of bliss were rolling down my face as I answered, YES!
We use to take mini getaways to pigeon forge / gatlinburg area a few times a year. We have celebrated birthdays, holidays, spur of the moment getaways here in East Tennessee. When speaking about marriage, I thought a little chapel and/or outdoor setting. We have managed to get both the chapel and outdoor setting all in one. After almost 10 years of being together, we decided to elope, just the two of us. Make the day all about just US!
To be quite honest a typical date night for us after almost 10 years together and after the hours we work, we enjoy relaxing together on the sofa binge watching a show, ordering dinner and a movie, occasional brunch on a Sunday out, bowling once in a while, a walk in the park with our boy Oreo (our son, our dog) and something I enjoy but him not so much, SHOPPING!
