Samantha and Matt’s evening October wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a picturesque celebration nestled in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. They chose elegant cream fabric beautifully paired with our blush and bashful florals to create a romantic and inviting atmosphere for their special day.
Samantha was absolutely stunning in a strapless dress featuring a corset top and layers of fabric that cascaded into a gorgeous medium-length train. She completed her bridal look with a long tulle veil, adding an ethereal touch as she walked down the aisle. Her preparation was a heartfelt affair, with his mom, her friend, and her aunt by her side helping her get ready.
Matt looked sharp in a navy suit accented with a blush tie, perfectly complementing the wedding’s color theme. Her dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle, a cherished moment filled with emotion and joy.
The ceremony was uniquely personal with his brother-in-law officiating—his second time leading a wedding—which added a special familial touch to their vows.
After the ceremony and family photos, we captured the newlyweds in a series of couple photos along the road and in the field during the golden hour. The backdrop of the mountains provided a breathtaking setting as the sun set, highlighting the love and happiness of their magical day.
Congratulations, Samantha and Matt! Your wedding beautifully blended elegance, family, and the natural beauty of the Smokies. May your life together be as beautiful and filled with love as your wedding day!
From the Bride
We had a mutual friend who Matthew worked with. During COVID, I was hanging out at her house and he came over too! For our first date we met for a spontaneous dinner and followed it up with a drive to the mountains. Matthew proposed at the Grand Canyon. We decided to get married in East Tennessee because this is our home. On our wedding day I am most looking forward to marrying my best friend.
