Evening May Micro Wedding – Tracy and Mike

Evening May Micro Wedding

Tracy and Mike – May 3, 2025

Tracy and Mike’s evening May micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was short, sweet, and full of love!
They dressed the chapel in soft cream and blush fabric, beautifully paired with our succulent florals for a romantic evening glow. Tracy carried a stunning sola wood bouquet adorned with a special memory photo of her mom—such a touching tribute.
She looked radiant in a sleeveless gown with a flowing train and delicate lace appliqué, and her daughters and sister were there to help her get ready. Her dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle, and Mike’s huge grin as he saw her walking toward him said it all.
Mike looked sharp in a classic navy suit, and the two of them were so focused on savoring their time together that they kept things sweet and simple during the ceremony, saving plenty of time for magical couple photos. We took them all over the property—from the mossy woods to the open field with the mountains glowing in the background.
Congratulations, Tracy and Mike!! Your love lit up the forest, and we’re so honored to have been a part of your special day.
From the Bride
Mike and I met at my cousins birthday party. I messaged him on Facebook the night we met and we started talking. He took me on a date the following weekend and we have been together ever since!! Our first date was very casual. He took me to a restaurant on the lake. He ordered fried banana peppers and I thought he was crazy but they were actually delicious! There was also something going on on the lake that night and there were fireworks! So it made it even more memorable!
Mike proposed. Apparently he carried the ring around every where we went for 3 months trying to find the right opportunity. Then on New Years he was tired of waiting so he proposed at midnight! We picked this location because Mikes parents live in Knoxville and are elderly and can not travel to Alabama. Mike is one of 4 children but is now the only surviving child of his parents so it is very important that they can share our special day with us.
I am looking forward to being married and to have beautiful photos of us and our families. We have never had professional photos of us together so I am looking forward to filling our new (but very old, built in 1930) home with memories from our special day! Mike and I love live music! We love to do little projects at our new home together. We also love to travel.
