Savanna and Matthew – July 24, 2022
East Tennessee Late Summer Micro Wedding
We met through work. Life has a crazy way of bringing people together sometimes and that’s exactly how it happened for us. For our first official date he took me out to dinner and then we did a walking ghost tour. Definitely not your average first date, haha! We had an absolute blast. Matthew proposed. We were on our front porch walking inside after a Sunday morning church service and I turned around to see him down on one knee with the ring in his hand and our baby boy in his car seat next to him. It was simple and absolutely perfect in every way!
We picked East Tennessee because we wanted to do something different, yet small and meaningful. We wanted our ceremony to match us and our personalities. We’re looking forward to experiencing such a special moment with our families by our side. We’re also excited to have our children be able to participate in the ceremony and be a part of the spot light on that day. They are our world!
We enjoy being able to spend quality time together, whether it’s stuffing our faces with chips and salsa (Mexican is our usual go-to for date nights), or sitting at home putting a puzzle together. We spend quite a lot of time outside together as well. Hunting and fishing are two of Matt’s favorite words (lol). It doesn’t matter what we’re doing as long as it is together, which is my favorite place to be!
