Early Spring Mini Wedding in the Smoky Mountains – Casey and Chad

Casey and Chad – March 18th, 2023

Early Spring Mini Wedding in the Smoky Mountains

Casey and Chad joined us for an early spring mini wedding in the Smoky Mountains. They dressed the chapel with sand and peach fabric paired with our blush and bashful florals and lantern package. Her lattice styled dress was lovely, and he looked stylish in his navy suit. Congratulations, Casey and Chad!
From the Bride:
How we originally met, he was a substitute teacher at my school when he was in college and I was in high school. When I was working as a nurse at one of the facilities in our area he worked the same shifts as me. The unit I worked on was right by the ambulance entrance so he would always come in and speak to me in passing. We both ended up getting divorced a few years later and ended up finding each other again on facebook and began talking once we realized we were both single, and we have been together since. For our first date we went to lunch at Chick-fil-a, nothing special.
Chad proposed. I said I did not want it to be anything big or to be proposed to on a holiday. He brought the ring to me the Friday before Mother’s Day. He had been mowing the yard and I was cooking lunch. I said I didn’t want anything over the top and for it to be a complete surprise and random time, and he delivered. We had planned to go out that night for a date night for Mother’s Day before he left for a golf trip to Arizona.
I know a woman that was married at Chapel in the Hollow and saw some pictures, and I absolutely loved them and thought they were so stunning. I ran across some of the pictures on Pinterest, found the website, and when I saw her pictures on the website I knew this would be the place I got married. I wanted to get married at Chapel in the Hollow before I was even planning on getting married haha. We decided on the date, March 18th, because my maternal grandparents were married on this date. Of course having a wedding with our family there is something I cannot wait for, and just finally being married is at the top of my list. But I am so happy to get to experience it in such a beautiful venue, and get to showcase these pictures in our home for everyone to see.
