Cloudy April Elopement

Molly and Josiah joined us today for a cloudy April elopement. They dressed the chapel in teal and white with our white florals. She looked adorable in her lacy white dress from Shein with the sparkly belt. He let out a loud whoop when he saw her walk down the aisle. These two were laid back and so much fun! (And I learned a new joke, lol.) Congratulations, Molly and Josiah!

From the Bride:

We met on Bumble, the crazy world of online dating! I messaged him first and said I always wanted a guy who played guitar and had a beard. And now I have him. 🙂

We met for dinner at Port City Pub, a local Irish Pub (one of Josiah’s favorite restaurants). I was dressed nicely and he was in a tshirt and gym shorts. He said he didn’t want to give any false impressions. Lol Good thing he has a great personality.

Josiah proposed on December 19th, 2021. He was at my house and was knelt down tying his shoe. He stayed on one knee and when I turned around, he said, “now that I’ve tied this knot, I want to tie the knot with you. Will you marry me?”

I never wanted to have an outside wedding. Too many uncontrollable circumstances. But once I saw this venue, I knew this was the place. I have visited TN several times and always loved it. We both love the beauty of God’s creation and the mountains are definitely beautiful. We wanted it to be just the two of us for the wedding so we could focus on ourselves and what we really wanted. Less stress! I’m looking forward to the moment we both see each other for the first time. I (Molly) stay busy working in healthcare and raising two children. Josiah is a full time musician, traveling and performing shows.
He also teaches guitar lessons. We like to go for drives, listening to music (we definitely have different tastes!), making each other laugh, and watching movies together. Hopefully one day we can travel more!
