Classic Micro Wedding – Morgan and Jacob

Morgan and Jacob – September 30, 2021

Classic Micro Wedding

For our third and final wedding of the day, Morgan and Jacob joined us for a classic micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in champagne fabric with our bohemian fall florals. She looked stunning in her dress, and he sported a chic black tux. These two were super sweet and up for a good laugh. Congratulations, Morgan and Jacob!!
From the Bride:
I first noticed Jake when we were out riding at the same time and place with friends. I told my friends that he caught my eye and a few months later they initiated a conversation between the two of us. Jake ended up texting me and over the next month we continued talking and getting to know one another. We clicked almost instantly and quickly became best friends – we were the ones that we wanted to tell everything too. We decided to get together to finally meet in person and the rest is history. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
Our first date was dinner at a mexican restaurant followed by bowling and quite frankly I’m not sure why he stuck around. I spent most of the night running around the bowling alley with friends but every so often we would lock eyes and he would just smile at me, this smile that said “I see you and I’m right here just taking you all in. Keep enjoying yourself”. I knew then that this man was different from the rest. He was a breath of fresh air and little did I know we both were going to fall fast and hard.
Jake proposed on our anniversary trip to Blackwater Walls. He asked an older couple to take our picture and as they said to smile he dropped down on one knee. I think I went into shock because I didn’t say anything other than “are you serious”. He went to put the ring on my finger and asked “so is that a yes” to which I replied “of course I will marry you – YES”.
Neither of us wanted a big flashy wedding. When we were searching places to elope we came across photos of the chapel and just knew that was where we had to be married.
I’m most looking forward to getting to see our daughter be a part of our big day and finally marrying my best friend – the man I never thought I would find. We love to go hiking/camping as a family. Most of our free time is spent outdoors with our daughter.
