Morgan and Adam’s Forest Wedding

Morgan and Adam October 12, 2019

Morgan and Adam chose our first cool day for their lovely fall wedding. The brisk air didn’t stop them from enjoying their time together! She brought in some lovely purple faux florals to decorate the chapel that popped in the moody lighting, and they shared their vows in letter form before their first look. Congratulations Morgan and Adam!!

From the bride:
Adam And I met in the summer of 2008 at a town celebration. Not knowing that we would be attending the same high school we texted all summer. On the first day of school we noticed one another but Adam was to shy to talk to me. A couple weeks go by and we started sharing mutual friends, creating an excuse for us to hang out more. Adam then asked me to our freshman homecoming. After homecoming we spent so much time together that I guess we just assumed we were a “thing”. Adam never asked me out and I never asked him, we just ended up together.

Our first date was our freshman homecoming. I was so sick and was extremely late for the dinner due to me being so ill. My mother forced me to go saying that i could not let Adam down. By the time I got to the restaurant, our homecoming party had finished their dinners. However Adam waited to eat his dinner with me. Later I found out in our relationship , he thought I was going to stand him up :(. Im so relived that was not the case. That night was the night we shared our first kiss.

Adam Proposed to me On November 10th, 2013, completely unexpected and off script. We were having a date night with another couple at a pool hall. After a few rounds of pool, I had to end my night early to go take care of my pet sitting critters. Being the gentleman Adam is, he walked me to my car, where we spent another 30-45 min talking, laughing, and just enjoying the extra time with one another. After many shared kisses before heading to my car all of a sudden right there in the middle of the parking lot, in the dark and just the two of us, he got down on one knee. My emotions were all over the place, to think this man did not have to be anywhere special or create a scene to ask to have my heart forever.

We are very adventurous! We love camping, kayaking, and really anything to do with the outdoors. Tennessee is such a beautiful place all seasons, with so many outdoor adventures. I was born in Tennessee and the mountains hold a special place in my heart. Adam fell in love with the mountains after visiting Chattanooga, TN. Adam and I have been together for 11 years, engaged for 5 years I seriously couldn’t wait to be his wife! Our wedding date is a mix of our birthdays. My birthday is the 10 month and his birthday date is the 12th there for 10/12/19. We were just talking one day, and came up with the date out of the blue.

We love camping, kayaking, outdoor adventures. When we travel we collect refrigerator magnets of the places that we have been. A good date night for us almost always ends with dinner at Texas road house. Spending time with our dogs, Sunny and Lemmy.
