Beautiful Forest Wedding

Jennifer and Brian were our final beautiful forest wedding of the day yesterday. They dressed the chapel in white with the blush and marsala florals, and she made her own coordinating bouquet. She looked radiant in her dress, and he couldn’t keep his eyes off of her. Congratulations, Jennifer and Brian!!

From the Bride:

Our families had been friends but we didn’t know each other. We both knew that the other was single and started out liking some of each others posts on Facebook and making comments. Then we started talking to each other, a lot.

For the first date, he came to pick me up at my grandmothers, and we went to dinner together at a local restaurant. Conversation flowed freely throughout the meal. At least from me. He is a bit on the shy side. But we kept talking to each other and didn’t realize we were the only ones left in the restaurant. They had been cleaning, trying to close and we never even noticed. We were just focused on each other.

He took me for an evening drive and we went up into a nearby park. There is an overlook of Cherokee Lake. We stopped and got out to go watch the sunset over the water. And he got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. I, of course, said yes. And here we are.

He is most looking forward to seeing me come down through the aisle with the dress on.

For fun, we take walks in the park, sit on the porch and eat ice cream with Brian’s grandmother, look at antique cars and dining out together.
