10 Year Vow Renewal in the Smokies

Mandy and Jeremy joined us for their 10 Year Vow Renewal in the Smokies! They dressed the chapel in white fabric with our blush and marsala florals. She was wearing the same dress that she wore to the wedding 10 years ago. They brought in some touches of blue because it’s her favorite color. Their two kiddos joined them for their big day. Congratulations, Mandy and Jeremy!!

From the Bride:

We met in 2009 at a mutual friends’ birthday party she was having at her house. Jeremy knew her from their church, and she and I had been friends through college. She had no idea we would connect. For our fist date, Jeremy and I went for dinner, and since it was going well, we decided to meet some of his friends at a local bar for drinks and a live band. A few of my friends met us there a bit later in the night and everyone just got along so easily – like we had all been hanging out together for ages. Jeremy proposed on our final walk through of the house we were buying. (Yes, we started the process of buying a house before we were even engaged- although he had the ring well before we started). This will be our 10th wedding anniversary and we wanted to do something special and include or two boys. Jeremy vacationed in Pigeon Forge with his family when he was little. He brought me here on spring break in 2010. We knew we could find a great place for a vow renal ceremony here and it would also be a place that the kids would enjoy. I can’t wait to wear my wedding dress again – because I just loved it so much the first time. – its tighter than it was 10 years ago, but I’m making it work. We are also looking forward to some really cool pictures including our little boys. June 30 is our original wedding date back in 2012, we have been married for 10 years. We are a big Chicago sports fan family. Our oldest loves playing baseball and we love to go to Chicago Cubs games and Blackhawks games(hockey).
