Destination Elopement in East Tennessee – Tina and Curtis

Destination Elopement in East Tennessee

Tina and Curtis – August 11, 2024

Tina and Curtis’s destination elopement at Chapel in the Hollow was a picture of elegance and heartfelt emotion. They beautifully dressed the chapel in white and cream fabrics, setting a serene backdrop that was gracefully enhanced by our lavender florals.
Tina looked stunning in a sleeveless, soft, flowy dress, complemented by an elegant upswept hairdo that added a touch of sophistication to her bridal look. Curtis was dashing in a classic grey suit, embodying timeless style.
Adding a unique touch, Tina brought along some gorgeous dark florals, which provided a striking contrast to the light and airy decor of the chapel. Curtis’s anticipation to see Tina walk down the aisle was palpable, and when the moment came, his joy and emotion filled the chapel.
Throughout the ceremony, their interactions were sweet and sprinkled with humor, showcasing their personalities and the deep bond they share as a mature couple. Their laughter and loving glances made it clear that this was not just a union of hearts but of souls ready to continue their journey together.
Congratulations, Tina and Curtis! Your elopement was not just a celebration of love but a testament to the joy and companionship that you bring to each other’s lives. Here’s to many more years of happiness and laughter together!
From the Bride
We met online through the Facebook dating app. For our first date we met at The Cake Bake Shop in Carmel and had lunch and of course their amazing cake! We talked for a very long time at the restaurant which was just a continuation of the many long hours of conversation by phone and text we had prior to our official first meet. It was a very cold day in January and the roads were very slick. We made the decision that I should stay overnight at Curtis’s house. And the rest is relationship history!
Curtis proposed to me after only 2 months together. I’d like to say it was a surprise but it wasn’t. We knew from almost the beginning of our relationship that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. He had decorated his home with rose pedals and candles. He made me keep my eyes closed as he lead me to his living room where he got down on one knee and asked me a question that he already knew the answer to.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because of the beauty of the mountains along with the rustic landscape. Curtis and I are most looking forward to becoming a married couple. It wasn’t enough for us to only be living together partners. There isn’t any significance to the date we chose. It just worked for our schedule.
We like to experience different types of cuisine. We enjoy going to concerts and exploring new areas that neither of us have been to in our home state, Indiana. Typical date night would be dining out or exploring new shops. We even like to do something as simple as getting ice cream at Dairy Queen.

Destination Christian Wedding – Autumn and Cody

Destination Christian Wedding

Autumn and Cody – August 11, 2024

Autumn and Cody’s destination Christian wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a heartfelt celebration of love and faith, beautifully accented by their journey all the way from Texas. The chapel was elegantly adorned in white fabric and complemented by our delicate white florals, creating a serene and sacred setting for their vows.
Autumn’s mom played a special role, not only helping her get ready but also handcrafting all of the stunning handheld and worn florals for the wedding, from the bouquets to the boutonnieres. Autumn looked absolutely radiant in a sleeveless dress adorned with intricate embroidery, perfect for her big day.
Before the ceremony, Autumn and Cody shared a touching first look, a moment of joy and anticipation beautifully captured in the tranquil surroundings of the chapel. Her dad not only walked her down the aisle but also gave a heartfelt blessing on the ceremony, adding a deeply personal touch to their special day.
The ceremony included unique elements such as a flower girl and ‘ring security,’ bringing smiles and a hint of playfulness to the proceedings. They also incorporated a cord of three strands ritual into their ceremony, symbolizing the strength of their bond with God at the center—a beautiful reflection of their commitment to each other and their faith.
Congratulations, Autumn and Cody! Your wedding was not just a union of hearts but a celebration of family, creativity, and faith. As you embark on this new journey together, we wish you all the happiness, love, and blessings life can offer.
From the Bride
We met in 2017 through a friend while we were in high school. Shortly following us becoming friends our first date was the day after my 16th birthday in January of 2018. We talked about our futures and knew that we wanted each other in it. After high school graduation, Cody went into the workforce and Autumn went to college. Throughout this time, we supported each other and continued to grow inside our relationship.
We decided to take a summer road trip in 2023. We adventured our way to 4 corners and explored all 4 states. While we were hiking in the Arches National Park we found a cave. That’s where he asked me if I saw something in the cave and told me to look at what he saw. I ran in and he did not follow. When I turned around, he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
We wanted a small intimate ceremony where we could put God first. This chapel and the photographer were exactly what I wanted.
On our wedding day I look forward to being surrounded by our closest friends and family as we celebrate the beginning of our union.

Evening August Wedding – Jessy and Jason

Evening August Wedding

Jessy and Jason – August 3. 2024

Jessy and Jason’s evening August wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a magical affair, beautifully set in the great outdoors under the changing skies. They brought a rustic charm to the chapel, decorating it in shades of dusty blue and peach fabric, complemented by our wildflower florals and a romantic lantern package.
Jessy’s sister played a pivotal role in helping her prepare for the big day. Jessy looked absolutely stunning in a sleeveless dress featuring a sweetheart neckline and a long lacy train, perfect for the enchanting evening. Jason matched her elegance with a casual yet chic look, wearing jeans, a pale blue dress shirt, a brown vest, and a floral tie that added a pop of personality.
Their daughters added a lovely touch to the ceremony, walking down the aisle ahead of Jessy, bringing smiles to all the guests. The couple crafted their own vows, sharing them during the ceremony in a deeply personal and heartfelt exchange that captured the essence of their bond.
A unique donut dessert table was set up, delighting guests with sweet treats in lieu of traditional wedding cake, creating a fun and memorable twist to their reception.
Despite the rain during the family formals, spirits remained high, with the weather adding to the memorable atmosphere of the day, making their celebration even more special and unique.
Congratulations, Jessy and Jason! Your beautiful outdoor wedding was a perfect blend of love, family, and joyful celebration. Wishing you all the happiness and love in your new journey together!
From the Bride
We met when we worked in a prison together. During our first date we dealt with the worst storm ever. It was like a monsoon. We went out for Chicken wings and perogies, my favorite foods. We laughed, talked and sang our favorite country songs. Jason proposed by saying how about we go and give you my last name. We decided to get married at Chapel in the Hollow in East Tennessee because it’s cheap, easy and beautiful. On our wedding day I am most looking forward to the first look. We enjoy spending time together playing Pokemon Go, trying new restaurants, watching movies, outdoor activities and spending time with our family.

August Micro Wedding – Emma and Hunter

August Micro Wedding

Emma and Hunter – August 3, 2024

Emma and Hunter’s August micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a delightful celebration, beautifully orchestrated to share their love with close family and friends in the serene setting of East Tennessee. They chose elegant white fabric to adorn the chapel, perfectly paired with our new white and succulent florals, and added a charming touch with matching florals in glasses along the aisle pews.
Emma’s mom played a pivotal role, bringing a team to set up a refreshment table for guests to enjoy after the ceremony. She also did a fantastic job decorating the cake table, which featured a stunning cake, delicious cupcakes, and lush greenery, creating a truly inviting atmosphere.
Emma’s sisters were by her side, helping her get ready for her big day. Emma looked gorgeous in a classic dress with an asymmetrical top, exuding elegance and grace. Hunter kept it casual yet stylish in jeans and a crisp white dress shirt, fitting perfectly into the laid-back yet festive atmosphere of their wedding.
Her dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle, a moment filled with emotion and pride. Her two sisters and his dad stood up with them during the ceremony, supporting their union and celebrating their commitment.
After exchanging vows and taking family photos, Emma and Hunter took time to mingle with their guests, cherishing the moments with their loved ones. They then captured their new beginning with couple photos amidst the natural beauty of their outdoor wedding chapel setting.
Congratulations, Emma and Hunter! Your wedding was not just a beautiful union but a wonderful celebration of love and family. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and joy together!

Intimate Family Wedding – Jessie and Shawn

Intimate Family Wedding

Jessie and Shawn – August 2, 2024

Jessie and Shawn’s intimate family wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a heartfelt celebration set against the enchanting backdrop of a forest freshly revived by rain. The chapel was beautifully dressed in sand fabric and adorned with our bohemian florals paired with our candle and lantern package, creating a perfect scene for their special day.
Their three daughters, alongside Jessie’s mother, helped her get ready, making the morning even more special. Jessie looked absolutely stunning in a sleeveless beaded dress with a sweetheart neckline and long train, which featured exquisite gold undertones. Her look was completed with a matching cathedral length veil and impeccably styled hair and makeup by Southern Sirens.
Shawn was dressed smartly in khakis and a white dress shirt, perfectly complementing the rustic and elegant theme. Jessie’s mother had the honor of walking her down the aisle, adding a deeply personal touch to their ceremony. Their three daughters, dressed in beautiful rust tones, and his dad, also in khaki and white, stood with them, supporting their union.
Having been together for fifteen years, the deep connection and love they share were palpable. The morning was wet and green from the previous night’s rain and the crazy humidity, enhancing the lush surroundings and making their wedding day feel like a scene from a fairy tale.
Despite the humidity, spirits were high, and the girls seemed thrilled to be part of the day. Shawn was moved to tears during the ceremony, a testament to the emotion and significance of the moment.
Congratulations, Jessie and Shawn! Your wedding was not just a celebration of your union, but a beautiful blending of family and nature. Here’s to many more years of happiness and love.
From the Bride
We met through mutual friends. We just clicked and our personalities gravitated towards each other, the rest was history. We’ve been inseparable since. We have been together for almost 15 years. We started out as friends, so our first date was to get a late lunch before I had to go into work. He proposed to me on our wedding date, 5 years ago, at the Island in Pigeon Forge. As we were leaving and walking over the bridge, he stopped and spun me around and asked me to marry him. We were both so nervous, we almost dropped the ring into the river below. It could not have been any more perfect for us, and I think about it every time we are there.
We decided to have our intimate family wedding in East Tennessee because it’s beautiful and a place we come often as a family. On our wedding day, I look forward to sharing our love for one another with our family. We chose this date because this was our engagement date, and it is special to us.
We love to spend time as a family. We like to travel and create new experiences together. We’re a family that loves being in the water, from the pool to the beach.
