25th Anniversary Vow Renewal – Joyce and Keith

25 Years of Love:
Smoky Mountain Vow Renewal

Joyce and Keith – July 31, 2025

Some love stories are meant to last a lifetime — and Joyce and Keith’s is one of them.  To celebrate 25 beautiful years of marriage, they chose to return to the very place where it all began: the magical Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Nestled in the forest at Chapel in the Hollow, their morning vow renewal was a joyful, heartfelt tribute to a love that has only grown stronger over time.

A Smoky Mountain Vow Renewal Full of Heart

Joyce and Keith honeymooned in the Smokies 25 years ago, so it felt only fitting to come back to these misty mountains for their vow renewal — a destination filled with memories and meaning. The couple dressed the chapel in soft cream fabric paired with our wildflower floral package to create a breezy, romantic summer morning look that was both simple and stunning.
Joyce wore a light, flowy dress from Shyanne at Boot Barn that perfectly matched the day’s relaxed elegance, along with cream-colored boots that added a little country chic to the ensemble. Her bouquet, created by The Southern Goat, was a wildflower dream — whimsical, fresh, and full of color.
Keith leaned into the rustic Tennessee vibes with jeans, a brown vest, and his signature cowboy hat, all from Cody James and Corral Boots. Together, they looked like they had just stepped out of a country romance novel — effortlessly in sync and full of that spark that 25 years clearly hasn’t dimmed.

Murphy the Best Man

In what might be the most adorable part of the day, their sweet yorkie, Murphy, joined them as the best man — complete with his own little outfit. It’s not every day we get to see a four-legged friend in such a special role, and Murphy absolutely stole our hearts (and the camera)!
Joyce and Keith walked down the aisle hand in hand, with the forest around them quiet and calm — as if nature itself was bearing witness to their enduring love.

Celebrating the Journey

The couple brought a framed photo from their original wedding day to honor their journey together, adding a beautiful layer of nostalgia to the ceremony. They also brought a small cake to share after the ceremony — a sweet way to cap off a celebration that was both deeply meaningful and delightfully fun.
Their officiant, Ian Parrott, led a touching ceremony that reflected the depth and warmth of their bond, and Star Noir Studio captured every smile, every tear, and every loving glance with breathtaking photography that radiated joy.
From the Bride
We meet at our workplace. We both were very nervous as we had been away from the dating scene for some time. Keith proposed. We were at a Marshall Tucker Band concert, and he made his way upon the stage while I had stepped away to get drinks for us. I was called upon stage, and he got down on one knee and proposed. I was so surprised and of course I said yes.
We honeymooned in the area 25 years ago and figures it would be the perfect place to renew our vows! We are looking forward to having another beginning of the rest of our lives together! We chose this date because it is our our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We love the mountains, watching sunsets together and spending time with our daughter, her husband and our grandkids
