Winter Family Wedding – Alana and Avery

Winter Family Wedding

Alana and Avery – December 16, 2024

Alana and Avery’s winter family wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was an absolute joy!
The chapel was adorned in cozy navy and cream fabric, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfectly complemented by the sweet fragrance of lavender florals and the soft glow of candles. Avery, looking sharp in a navy suit, was accompanied down the aisle by his children, while Alana, stunning in a sleeveless white dress, walked alongside her children.
Family played a central role in their celebration, with the kids adding an extra touch of love and happiness. Alana’s daughter, being the sweet helper, assisted with her mom’s hair, making the moment even more special.
As they walked away from the chapel, the children blew bubbles, creating a whimsical and playful exit for the newlyweds and their beautiful blended family.
It is heartwarming to know that this lovely family recently made the move from Alaska to Knoxville. Here’s to new beginnings, love, and warmth in the heart of winter!
From the Bride:
We’ve lived in Alaska for past 20+ years and recently retired and moved to Knoxville. He has 4 boys and I have twin boys and 1 daughter. He proposed in September on the road trip to Tennessee from Alaska for a December wedding. We blended our family in 2019 and are now getting married. We have fallen in love with Tennessee and love that we get to raise our kids here now. I want this ceremony to just be about us. I would like it to be simple, intimate, just our kids present and great photos to remember the day by.
For fun, we love the outdoors and exploring, but we love a quiet night at home too. We love spending time with our kids: Peyton (16), Braydon (14), Elliot and Sawyer (13), Bailey (10), Hayden (10) and Cayden (8). Cayden is a very happy, autistic child, so he may be walking around or making some noise during the ceremony, but we are okay with that. We are hopeful we can get some good family photos as well as some of just the two of us to celebrate our day.
