Kayla and Jeff’s white pumpkin wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a picturesque celebration of love and family, near Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They chose an elegant theme of black and blush fabric, perfectly accented by our moody florals and a charming simple pumpkin package, setting a festive and romantic fall atmosphere.
Kayla was absolutely stunning in a sheer black lace dress with long sleeves and a medium train, layered over a nude underdress, embodying a look of modern elegance. Jeff complemented her perfectly in a light-colored shirt, a striking red tie, dark jeans, and a dark vest, adding a touch of rustic charm to the ensemble.
Their day was filled with heartfelt moments, starting with a touching first look in front of the bridal suite. Jeff lovingly walked his mom in, while Kayla’s mom escorted their two youngest boys, setting the stage for a family-centered celebration. Their eldest son proudly took on the role of ring bearer, and their niece sprinkled petals as the flower girl.
A small mishap briefly paused the proceedings, but it only added to the memorable nature of the day, and their eldest son was notably thrilled when things got back on track. Kayla’s father walked her down the aisle, a moment filled with emotion and beauty.
During their ceremony, they beautifully incorporated a cord of three strands, symbolizing their strong, intertwined lives supported by faith, while his father blessed their union with a heartfelt prayer.
After the ceremony, the couple shared joyous family photos, after which Kayla’s parents kindly took the children, allowing the newlyweds to relax and enjoy some intimate couple photos in the lush forest setting. The day wrapped up with a night out on the town, a perfect end to their magical wedding day.

From the Bride
We met online – but don’t tell anyone! On our first date we went to Starbucks first, where I insisted on buying my own coffee, and then a hike up a mountain in North Georgia to see the sunset with a guy I just met. It was early July, and as we kissed at the bottom of the trail someone literally shot up fireworks. And as they say, the rest is history.
Jeff proposed. For our proposal, Jeff actually recreated our first date (almost exactly 7 years later) and we went hiking to the same scenic mountain top in North Georgia.
Both of our families have been going to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge / Sevierville for family vacations for a long time. Kayla’s family is also from Tennessee originally which made Chapel in the Hollow the perfect place for our wedding. We’ve been a family for years and already have little ones together. So, on our wedding day we’re both looking forward to making it legally official and in the eyes of God. We’ve both always wanted an outdoor, fall wedding.
We don’t get as many date nights as we used to, but the typical date usually involves getting outdoors, eating good food, or having a movie night. The rest is spent going on adventures with our wild kiddos.
