Unique Intimate Wedding

Laura and Joey joined us today for a wonderfully unique intimate wedding with their families. They dressed the chapel in burgundy and are the first to use our new moody burgundy, blush, black, and gold (Halloween) florals. She brought her own live bouquet and wore a fun sheer navy cape. He had some edgy gangster vibes in his bespoke suit, and together they were fire!! She had her mom and sisters walk her around to the beginning of the aisle, and they did a whiskey unity ceremony! Wait until you see this beauty!! Congratulations, Laura and Joey!

From the Bride:

We were from the beginning an unlikely match, and life reminded us of that every time we felt the pull towards each other in the decade we were friends. We watched each other struggle with relationships and work and family, but never let our minds stray to the idea that we could be the solution for one another. But the universe brought us closer and closer year after year. I could never find a man that made me stop thinking of him and he could never find a girl that brought him the peace and support he sought. We made each other angry and we cried, but one day it all clicked and we began to grow together into the people we were supposed to be all along. The best things in life are the ones you work hard at. We have both lead arduous journeys, separately and together, but in the end we found our soul mate.

He made me wait a year and some change for the proposal because he was being a perfectionist. We went up to Anakeesta on a December evening and he proposed under the stars.

We chose East Tennessee for our wedding because it’s where we’ve lived all of our lives. I’m most looking forward to being married to my best friend. He is looking forward to seeing me walk down the aisle.

We wanted to begin the official journey of being together on the Fall equinox to symbolize the death of all the emotional chaos we have been through and the rebirth of our relationship into the new cycle of growth and all that we can achieve together.

We enjoy cooking together and working on projects together. Right now our life is consumed by building each of our business’, which would never exist with out the support we give each other.
