Ten Year Anniversary Vow Renewal
Jennifer and Joe joined us for their ten year anniversary vow renewal! They decorated the chapel in champagne and white with our sunflower florals. She wore a hi-low lacy dress, and he had on his first cowboy hat. We were able to add on a new photo spot — yay! — that these two were the first to use. One of our neighbors is allowing us to use their creek for photos, and I can’t wait to get a couple who wants to play in the water when it warms up!! Congratulations, Jennifer and Joe on 10 beautiful years. We hope to see you back with your family soon!!
From the Bride:
We met at a day retreat for our college Bible Study in the mountains by our house but really continued to connect during the Bible study. We both helped each other date other people and we’re friends for 6 months. One night we were texting and joked about being each other’s “back up”. Joseph then texted back saying “For real though, if I ever had a chance with you I wouldn’t screw it up”
We met at Starbucks the next day to talk about what we wanted in our future and laid everything out. We said the next person we dated would be the one we marry. We talked for a good while and then Jenn went to church and Joseph went to dinner with his dad to tell him we found the girl he was going to marry.
2 months after our first date Joseph took Jennifer to a mini golf course and on the “waterfall hole” Jennifer bent over to pick up her ball and when she stood up, Joseph was holding the ring and popped the question.
We were trying to decide on a great place for a ten year anniversary and somewhere we wanted to go without our kids. We decided Nashville and a quiet cabin in the woods would be perfect. Plus the play on the name for a ten year anniversary for the only “10 I see” was perfect.
Renewing those vows that we promised 10 years ago. They’ve changed over the years with life and kids but important to renew the promises that hold us together. Plus some pictures of us without kids hanging on us would we lovely (lol).
4/21/22 will be our 10 year anniversary!
We love movies which is our typical go to once the kids are in bed. We both love the mountains and could just sit on a porch with a peaceful view for hours. We’re always up for something new and fun.
