Spring Morning Micro Wedding – Shelby and Chris

Shelby and Chris – April 16, 2022

Spring Morning Micro Wedding

Shelby and Chris joined us for their spring morning micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in blush fabric with our bohemian florals. She looked exquisite, and he was oh so excited to be taking photos with her. Congratulations, Shelby and Chris!!!
From the Bride:
We met online. Our first date was at 10pm. He picked me up in his truck and we headed west. We drove for what seemed like hours. We just talked and talked. It wasn’t until we hit Indianapolis that I asked him how far we’d drive. He said “Until you tell me to turn around or I run out of gas”. So we turned around outside Indy and made our way back. We stopped at iHop at 2am because he insisted on buying me food. I got birthday cake pancakes. He dropped me off back home that morning close to 3am and it was probably the best date I’ve ever had. He even asked if he could kiss me Goodnight. I was hooked from then on. I knew he was gonna be the one for me.
He proposed to me in Savannah Georgia at the Forsythe fountains (my dream). It was the night before St. Patrick’s day and he wanted to take the long haul walk to see the fountains at night (which are gorgeous if you’ve never seen them). As soon as he pulled out the ring I immediately started bawling. I don’t even know what he said to me and he jokes that I didn’t know what I was agreeing to. He also smuggled the ring through TSA so it wasn’t in our luggage. I still laugh about that. I had no idea he had the ring with him for our trip.
I knew I wanted something small and intimate for the wedding. I saw the chapel on Facebook and honestly fell in love and thought it was perfect. The whole package was priced just right. The site was gorgeous and the pictures were absolutely beautiful. It would be a beautiful wedding with very little stress or planning on my part. I wanted simple and stress free.
I am looking forward to sharing this moment again with our closest friends and family. I can’t wait to wear my wedding dress and celebrate after the ceremony.
This date (April 16th) is 6 years to the day of our first date.
