South African Elopement – Chantel and Lionel

Chantel and Lionel – August 12, 2021

Simple East Tennessee Elopement

Chantel and Lionel brought her mom for a South African elopement in the Smoky Mountains. These two are originally from South Africa and are currently living in Louisiana so we got to hear some fun accents.  They dressed the chapel in champagne fabric with the blue and yellow florals. We recently fixed up a new spot that they were willing to try out for us, and they make it look so good!! Congratulations, Chantel and Lionel!
From the Bride:
We met at a dinner with mutual friends. Our first date was a mudslide in the Karoo — lots of rain, wine, mud, good music, and laughter followed by a starlight walk up a mountain!
Lionel Proposed at the Charthouse with lots of champagne and a double proposal to make sure that I really said yes. We chose the Smoky Mountains for our elopement because they are a beautiful location to elope to. I’m most looking forward to exchanging vows.
For fun, we like to go to food tastings, drink wine, wine tastings, travel, and build legos together.
