Smoky Mountain Summer Wedding – Karlee and Carson

Karlee and Carson – July 6, 2023

Beautiful Smoky Mountain Summer Wedding

Join us in celebrating the love and joy of Karlee and Carson as they exchanged vows in a beautiful Smoky Mountain summer wedding! The chapel was adorned in the most charming blush and white fabric, creating an atmosphere of elegance and romance. The blush and bashful florals added a delicate touch to the overall decor, enhancing the beauty of the celebration.
Karlee looked absolutely stunning in her spaghetti strap white dress, featuring minimal beading that added a touch of subtle glamour. Carson opted for a stylish ensemble, pairing jeans with a grey sports jacket and topping it off with a classic cowboy hat. Their Kentucky roots shone through their attire, adding a hint of rustic charm to their wedding day. This sweet and fun-loving couple brought their playful spirits to their special day, willing to embrace every moment and create lasting memories. Their willingness to let loose and have fun made their celebration even more enjoyable for everyone present.
The weather gods were on their side as they just narrowly missed the rain for their ceremony. The backdrop of the outdoor wedding, nestled in the beautiful landscape of East Tennessee near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, added a touch of natural beauty to their celebration. Adding to the charm and uniqueness of their wedding, Karlee and Carson had their very own specialized ring security. It’s safe to say they took their commitment seriously, even recruiting the little ones for this important duty.
We feel incredibly blessed to have been a part of Karlee and Carson’s special day, witnessing their love and the beginning of their journey as a married couple. May their lives be filled with endless love, laughter, and beautiful adventures together. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness and joy!
From the Bride:
We met in our high school weightlifting class in October 2022. Our first date was on November 4th, Carson simply picked me up and took me to get food from our small town Sonic. After we got our food, we went and hung out in our gym’s parking lot and just talked about life for hours.
Carson proposed on October 5th, 2022 at Orange Beach, Alabama. He originally planned to wait to ask until December of that year, but as he was buying the ring, his sister asked if he was planning to propose at the beach, which immediately made him change his mind. My parents had no idea that he would propose 2 days after he bought the ring, since when he asked for permission, he told them it wouldn’t be until December. It was a very small proposal, with just his brother and his girlfriend, but the peaceful waves and the beautiful sunset made Carson’s proposal perfect. We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because we both love the mountains, and we wanted somewhere unique for our wedding that not everyone that we know has had theirs. We found the Chapel in the Hollow and fell in love. We are mostly looking forward to obviously becoming a married couple, but also to having a great time in the mountains together and with our friends and family on our special day.
As a couple, we typically spend our time driving on back roads, going to the gym, hanging out with our miniature dachshund, Dolly, and the past few months, building our house together.
