Megan and Jody – June 6, 2020
Smoky Mountain Elopements
Smoky Mountain elopements start with the perfect couple, and this is a great pair!! Megan and Jody were our final couple of the day on June 6, 2020. This sweet couple has been engaged for five years and were ready to make things official! They were so sweet together. Megan chose a two piece dress which was so fun. Her hair and makeup were understated and elegant, and the bouquet was lush and gorgeous! Congratulations Megan and Jody!!
From the Bride:
Our families have known each other for generations, but because of our 11 year age gap, we didn’t run into each other until later in life. Between working with his mom and having mutual friends, life brought us together.
Our first date was awkward – as all first dates are. Dinner at Texas Roadhouse. He proposed on Christmas Eve. He was so nervous!
We chose Tennessee because we both love the mountains and the outdoors. As soon as I came across Chapel in the Hollow, I knew it was where I wanted to get married!
I’m looking forward to finally being married (after a 5 year engagement)! Camping is our favorite thing to do as a family (with our 12 year old daughter) – we have a travel trailer and love to go on adventures! Date nights usually consist of dinner and listening to live music.
