Rainy September Tennessee Wedding – Casey and Jason

Casey and Jason – September 20, 2021

Rainy September Tennessee Wedding

Casey and Jason joined us today for a rainy September Tennessee wedding. They dressed the chapel in blush and white with our bohemian fall florals. She was a vision in her lacey white dress, and his eyes stayed glued to her. Congratulations, Casey and Jason!!
From the Bride:
We met through a mutual friend at work, and became fast friends due to our love of shooting and connected through our work as first responders, Jason as a Deputy Sheriff. and Casey as a 911 Dispatcher. We were both previously married so we simply hung out as mutual friends. Soon after we both split and were going thru very rough divorces and did not maintain our friendships. After a few months, we ended up reconnecting as Casey wanted help with shooting to help her achieve her dream of becoming a Deputy Sheriff.
Our first date was New Years Eve 2018. We went to a local restaurant that we would always go to after our shooting practice and stayed out till almost 5 am. We danced and ate and kissed at midnight, like a typical RomCom, but had one of the best nights of our lives.
Jason proposed to Casey on Christmas Day at the back of our country property. We lost our dog just a month before right after Jason took her to pick out the engagement ring and she was a very big part of our lives, so he proposed in front of the tree where she is buried, so that she could still be apart of the engagement.
We were both previously married and went through not so great divorces. After a few months, we reconnected and began dating. We decided to take a trip to Gatlinburg, as Jason has never been and visited Cades Cove. There is a bridge with a large rock that you can jump off into the cold river water from the mountain. It was the most freeing and relaxing experience of our lives and we instantly fell in love with the beauty and serenity of the mountains and forest surrounding the area.

We are most looking forward to… “Finally being able to say I Do and marrying my best friend” – Casey

“Seeing Casey walk down the aisle” – Jason

We both have a mutual love for being outdoors and hunting. We also enjoy spending time with our family and our two goofy Great Danes, Kimber and Ruger. We share a mutual love of guns and food, and a typical date night would be just hanging out and eating great food or spending the night at home cooking together and watching movies.
