Rainy Fall Wedding – Brittani and Aaron

Brittani and Aaron – September 18, 2021

Rainy Fall Wedding

Brittani and Aaron brought their guests to us for a rainy fall wedding. They dressed the chapel in navy with our blue and yellow florals. An hour before the ceremony it started pouring down. Thankfully, it lightened up, but they got to experience some Tennessee drizzle. She looked amazing in her dress with her back veil (what a fun idea!!), and he looked fantastic in his navy suit. She did a first look with her son, and he had the most adorable expression on his face! While rainy days don’t get most couples excited on their wedding day, this one gave us some gorgeous lighting and fog for the mountains. Congratulations, Brittani and Aaron!!
From the Bride:
We met at work, lol. Aaron was a paramedic at beech grove fire department and Brittani was a new EMT working there part time while going to paramedic school. We were both workaholics and I was pretty sure Aaron hated me so in normal brittani fashion I talked until he started liking me.
For the first date, Aaron bought coffee scented candles, Brittani’s favorite, and a new bottle of bourbon and we watched a move and drank bourbon at Aaron’s apartment and just talked and laughed a lot.
Aaron popped the question! We were in the Airbnb we stayed in the first time we went on a solo vacation together, getting ready for the day on the beach, when Aaron got down on one knee in our room and shocked me even after me being a brat and ruining his early morning beach proposal.
We chose East Tennessee for our wedding because of our love for nature and the scenery. We wanted something truly intimate with our closest family and friends. We are looking forward to our family “blending” together.
We spend a lot of time outdoors. We enjoy hiking and exploring state parks and the beauty of nature. Typical date night is pizza in bed and horror movies while enjoying a good IPA. If our kids are there our horror movie is changed to a Disney movie but the pizza and IPA always make the cut.
