October Evening Wedding

Haley and Rachel came to us for an October evening wedding filled with candles and family. They dressed the chapel in hunter green and lavender fabrics with our succulent florals and candle package. We got super lucky and only had a little drizzle of the rain we were expecting. These two lovely ladies each had a unique but coordinating suit on, and they painted a canvas together as part of their ceremony. They flew a cake in all the way from New York for its tasty goodness, and Haley’s grandmother performed the ceremony. They brought their pupper, Aurora, who was the goodest of girls! Congratulations, Haley and Rachel!

From the Brides:

We met through mutual friends. For our first date, we went for pizza, saw a movie (Maleficent 2), and then stayed up late talking. Both of us proposed! Rachel proposed using our pets. Alex (our male cat) had a tag that said “marry mom?” on his collar and Charlie (our female cat) had the ring on her collar. Haley makes Rachel coffee before work and got a custom mug with “good morning beautiful ❤️” around the rim and “will you marry me?” at the (inside) bottom. We love the mountains and the trees, and we moved to Knoxville a couple months before the wedding. The both of us are looking forward to calling each other wife. The significance to our date was not intentional. We became “official” on the 16th of December, but we didn’t think about that until after picking the date. Since we moved, we’ve both been busy trying to build our separate jobs (Rachel owns a food truck and Haley is tattooing) and haven’t had time for much so we like to just relax together when we have the opportunity. We like to try new food/restaurants on date nights.
