Mountain Micro Wedding – Lacey and Hunter

Mountain Micro Wedding

Lacey and Hunter – April 4, 2024

In the serene embrace of the Smoky Mountains, Lacey and Hunter celebrated their love with a breathtaking mountain micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. The chapel was adorned in luxurious champagne fabric, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that was beautifully complemented by our blush and bashful florals, with the soft glow of candles and lanterns adding to the romantic ambiance.
Lacey was a vision of elegance in her long-sleeved dress, featuring an illusion top with a keyhole back and layers upon layers of glitter fabric and tulle on the bottom, sparkling with every step she took. Hunter looked sharp in his black suit, accented with a blush tie, perfectly matching the day’s color palette.
The morning was filled with tender moments as Lacey’s mother and grandmother helped her prepare for the ceremony, a time of bonding and anticipation. Before the walk down the aisle, Lacey and Hunter shared a sweet “first touch” around the doors of the bridal suite, a moment of connection and love without seeing each other.
Lacey’s journey down the aisle, escorted by her dad, was a heartwarming highlight, marked by emotion and love. In her hands, she carried a gorgeous bouquet from Lisa Foster Floral Designs, a stunning array of flowers that complemented the day’s theme perfectly.
Their celebration featured a beautiful two-tiered white cake adorned with mountain designs and blush and white flowers from Cakes by Bakin’ Bishop, a sweet masterpiece that was as delicious as it was visually stunning.
Lacey’s mom played a pivotal role in styling and setting up the wedding, her touch evident in every detail and making the day even more special and personal. The overcast skies provided the perfect lighting for photographs, casting a soft, natural light that captured the beauty of the moment.
We concluded their magical day with photos in the field in front of the majestic mountains, a breathtaking backdrop that encapsulated the essence of their mountain micro wedding.
Lacey and Hunter’s wedding was not just a celebration of their union but a beautiful testament to their love, surrounded by nature’s grandeur and the warmth of their families. Congratulations, Lacey and Hunter! May your journey together be as beautiful and filled with love as your wedding day.
From the Bride:
Hunter and I first met on a dating app, he begged me for weeks to let him come to Tallahassee to meet me. I finally agreed and we met on Feb 11th of 2022. After connecting online, Hunter drove from Panama City, FL to Tallahassee, FL where he was stationed in the Military. We clicked instantly and I knew he was the one! We went out to dinner, watched movies at my apartment and talked for the remainder of the night!
Hunter proposed to me, on March 14, 2023 while we were on a Caribbean cruise to celebrate his 22nd birthday and our 1 year anniversary. Hunter wanted to reenact the famous Titanic scene on the Bow of the cruise ship. He prearranged someone to capture a video of the moment he asked me to marry him. When he got down on one knee I knew immediately my answer would be yes!
We live in Chattanooga and love the mountains. We found Chapel in the Hollow and fell in love with the scenery it provides and the fantastic and beautiful location. Getting to commit myself to my best friend for the rest of my life and getting to finally call him my husband. We also look forward to spending this amazing day with our families that are coming from many different cities and states to spend this day with us.
There’s no sentimental significance to the date we chose but we thought 4/4/2024 had a nice ring to it!
Hunter and I love to visit cool places in our hometown of Chattanooga. We love the food scene and trying out new restaurants. We like to take weekend getaways every once in a while. When we are not traveling, we love to be at home spending time with each other and our 2 sweet kitties, named Skittles and Spree.
