Melissa and Kyle – October 13, 2022
Morning October Wedding
Melissa and Kyle joined us for a morning October wedding filled with pumpkins, lanterns, and special people. They dressed the chapel with the blush and black fabric along with our moody florals, deluxe pumpkin package, and lanterns. Her dress was SO unique — I love the sleeves!! They make a beautifully striking pair, and these are some of my favorite mountain pictures to date! Congratulations, Melissa and Kyle!!!
From the Bride:
Kyle and I met 13 years ago through mutual friends. I was 19 he was 24 we were young, wild, and bonded in that way. This lead to us hanging out more and more and eventually dating. We would go out to eat, work out, and go on adventures all over Michigan and Ohio. We have a common love for dogs and still have our day one cat Ariel. Our first date was at Mancys Italian. I was a VERY picky eater at that time but Kyle always convinced me to try new things, he is a major foodie, today I am not so picky.
Kyle proposed just the way he had always said he would. By the water on the top of a mountain in NC, he even included our dogs. I actually thought he was bending down to pick up trash when in fact he was pulling a box from the grass. I laughed then cried and even questioned if he was sure before I said yes. We ALWAYS knew we would be married in the mountains. So we moved to Knoxville two years ago and wanted our friends and family to experience the love we have for the mountains. We are looking forward to having our friends and family celebrate our love in the place we love the most, the mountains. Being here in Tennessee, has made our connection so much stronger it’s like a new found love for one another. October 13, is an important date because this year marks our 13 years together and we’ve always agreed on a fall wedding, plus the changing of the trees was an absolute perfect choice.
Kyle and I spend A LOT of time together. We have a small business together. Our day starts with good coffee and then hit the road, we LOVE going to thrift stores, flea markets, and driving through the windy roads looking for yard sales and estate sales. We enjoy the outdoors, riding bikes, having bon fires, cooking over the fire and wandering around Downtown Knoxville. We have his daughter as much as possible however she’s 18 so those days are now cut short, we have two hairless dogs and one old grumpy cat.
