Morning Micro Wedding
Katie and Wade – September 24, 2023
I’m thrilled to share the heartwarming story of Katie and Wade, who embraced the crispness of a beautiful morning for their micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. Get ready for a tale filled with warmth, simplicity, and genuine love!
Against the backdrop of the chapel dressed in shades of champagne and blush, complemented by our delicate blush and bashful florals, Katie and Wade’s love story unfolded. The colors were a perfect reflection of the gentle serenity of the morning.
Katie, our radiant bride, chose a spaghetti strap dress that exuded modern elegance, with no train to keep things simple and comfortable. Wade, the dapper groom, was casually handsome in jeans and a tan blazer, capturing the essence of their laid-back charm.
Standing beside Wade were Katie’s four beloved sons, a beautiful representation of the love and unity that defined this special day. It was a heartwarming testament to their journey as a family.
Katie’s artistry extended to her own hair and makeup, adding a personal touch to her bridal look. Wade, a hardworking farmer, brought his own unique charm to the occasion. Their love story was a perfect blend of individuality and togetherness.
A rose gold ring from Etsy adorned Katie’s finger, a stunning symbol of their love. And for a touch of drama and elegance, she brought along a cathedral-length veil from Amazon, adding a touch of whimsy to their photos in the picturesque field.
Katie and Wade’s crisp morning micro wedding was a celebration of love, simplicity, and the joy of being together. It was an honor to be part of their journey, and I’m excited to see the adventures that await this wonderful couple. Cheers to the newlyweds
From the Bride:
We met 10 years ago where I was a nurse at a facility one of his farm hands was getting rehab after a stroke. I was the care plan nurse. We dated a couple years and then went our separate ways. Finally reconnecting in 2022 after one of his daughters reached out on Facebook. First date was 4th of July Fireworks at Fort Jackson, 2014!
Wade proposed after a weekend of baseball out of state with my son. He planned on doing it out of town in front of my boys. But forgot the ring in his truck. So when we got home he retrieved the ring and asked me to be his forever. He said that he let me get away once, but he would never let me get away a second time. I was his soul mate.
We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because of the ease and stress free part of an elopement and a love of the mountains. Chapel in the Hollow’s Facebook page was great and price was reasonable. I’m looking forward to the great pictures and getting to marry my best friend.
For fun, we love country music concerts, day trips to the beach to soak up the sun, spending time with our children and grandchildren. Baseball and football games. And sitting around the fire pit in the backyard listening to pandora radio with a cold drink.
