Trey and Christopher’s LGBTQ forest wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a groundbreaking celebration for us, marking our first ever same-sex male wedding, and what a joyous occasion it was! These country-loving gents, deeply rooted in nature, chose the perfect backdrop of the Smoky Mountains to tie the knot, reflecting their passion for the outdoors and each other.
Trey looked sharp and stylish, dressed in dark jeans paired with a black dress shirt, a light brown textured blazer, and a sleek black hat, blending rustic charm with modern elegance. Christopher complemented him perfectly, sporting light jeans, a crisp white dress shirt, and a dark brown textured blazer, ready for their memorable day.
Our own Ian had the honor of performing their ceremony in our picturesque rocky highland area, surrounded by the natural beauty of the forest and the stunning mountain views. The couple exchanged unique rings crafted from wood and gold, symbolizing their enduring connection and the natural essence of their relationship.
After the vows were exchanged, we captured the newlyweds amidst the vibrant fall foliage and against the panoramic mountain vistas, ensuring their first moments as a married couple were as majestic as the setting.
Congratulations, Trey and Christopher! Your wedding was not just a celebration of your love, but a joyful affirmation of inclusivity and romance in the heart of nature. Here’s to many more adventures together in the great outdoors!

We hope to buy property here soon as we love the area and knew it would be the perfect place for us to get married. We are glad to be making it official. We enjoy spending time on our farm where we raise registered show goats and poultry. We also enjoy hiking with our 4 dogs, hunting, fishing and spending time on the river.
