Intimate Forest Micro Wedding

Brandon and Chrystal decided to change course from their big wedding plans and opt for an intimate forest micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. They transformed the chapel with beautiful blush and champagne fabric, adorned with our lovely blush and bashful florals.

Chrystal was absolutely radiant in her sparkly dress, and he looked dashing in his jeans and gray vest. Blending their two families was a meaningful moment, symbolized by a heartwarming sand ceremony in which all 7 of their children participated. It truly represented the coming together of their lives and hearts.

For their delightful cake, they chose a creation from Cakes by Bakin’ Bishop, featuring a unique design resembling a tree with their initials carved onto it. Such a sweet and personal touch! They added an extra touch of charm to their special day with a cute sign from Etsy, adding to the enchanting atmosphere.

We were truly honored to be part of Brandon and Chrystal’s intimate forest wedding, capturing moments filled with love and joy. May their journey together be filled with happiness, love, and cherished memories. Congratulations to the wonderful couple!

From the Bride and Groom:

How did you meet? –

Chrystal- Brandon had caught my eye on Tik Tok with his amazing physique, beautiful blue eyes, perfect teeth and baby face good looks. Looking at his videos I was drawn to his love of fitness and health, family, strength and the way he was raising three kids completely on his own. I commented on many of his videos and prayed and hope he would message me.

Brandon- I was instantly drawn to Chrystal from the moment I first came across her tik tok profile. She added me first of course, however I made the first move after weeks of communicating back and forth in the comments section by sliding into her DMs. We later planned our first date.

What was the first date like? –

Chrystal- our first date was absolutely incredible. When we learned through talking back and forth that we lived less than 2 hours away- he invited me to a wedding of his friends. The minute I saw him- I was completely at ease. We had instant chemistry. The conversation was flowing, his dance moves were everything and our first kiss was the best kiss of my life. I knew that day I wanted to spend my life with him!

Brandon- Chrystal and I first date was absolutely incredible! I asked Chrystal to attend my buddies wedding as “just friends”. I was surprised she actually agreed to make the drive to be my date and was truly shocked when she actually showed up to my house. Of course she was running late so we didn’t have much time to talk before heading out, so I showed her where she could get ready and we headed to the wedding. Once we arrived at the wedding the nerves were fading a little for me and we completely hit it off! Absolutely no one thought it was our first time meeting as we had instant chemistry and it would have appeared that we had been together forever. Truly love at first sight!

Who proposed? Tell us about the proposal. –

Chrystal- Brandon proposed on Christmas Day surrounding my all 7 of our kids and completely surprised me. He put so much thought into the proposal, the ring was absolutely breathtaking and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Family, the man of my dreams and Christmas.

Brandon- I proposed on Christmas Day. I hadn’t leaked to anyone except close work friends that had no way to communicate with Chrystal. This was truly a shock to everyone. As we were cleaning up all the trash from opening gifts, Chrystal turned away from the tree as I was behind her kneeling down facing all our children. As Chrystal started to notice the expression and the reaction on their faces, she turned around to see me kneeling there. I popped the question and here we are.

What made you decide on East Tennessee for your wedding? –

Chrystal- Brandon planned every detail of a trip to celebrate our birthdays in Gatlinburg. This was my first trip to the mountains and I fell instantly in love. Traditional wedding planning was becoming extremely expensive especially as a busy, large family of 9 so we decided to save money and make a trip for our large family to our favorite place and make more memories there. We were absolutely blown away by Chapel at the Hollow setting, photography, intimate setting and videography services.

Brandon- well we had already started making wedding plans, booked a venue, booked DJs, booked catering, and had date set for December 2023, but after visiting Gatlinburg to celebrate our birthday weekend in early spring, Chrystal fell in love with the area and we had instantly switched directions and began booking.

What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day? –

Chrystal- I am looking forward to seeing the man I have prayed for all my life on this special day and joining together as one blended family. This is a celebration of not only the two of us but our families.

Brandon- I’m truly excited to see Chrystal on that day, walking down in all her beauty. Watching our children gather together and all be involved in our special day. What and absolute joy this day will bring.

What do the two of you do for fun? Collect? Typical date night? Anything else you’d like to share? –

Chrystal-we love anything outdoors, fitness, live music, spending time with our kids, watching Love is Blind together, cuddling and going to church together

Brandon- We both enjoy being outdoors and listening to live music. Typical date night would be food on the grill, fire pit going, drinks flowing, and music playing.
