Intimate Forest Micro Wedding – Annika and Allen

Intimate Forest Micro Wedding

Annika and Allen – August 12, 2023

Annika and Allen, surrounded by the serenity of the forest, embarked on a journey of intimate unity in a micro wedding that painted an unforgettable canvas on the heart. The chapel came alive in hues of white and blush, a gentle symphony of colors that whispered the promise of new beginnings. Adorned with delicate fabric and ombre pink florals, it transformed into a haven of romantic simplicity, a perfect backdrop for their impromptu celebration.

Annika, a vision of grace, held in her hands an oversized ombre bouquet, a reflection of her vibrant spirit and the blossoming love that led her here. Her smile radiated the joy of the moment, and her navy-suited groom, Allen, stood beside her with an air of quiet assurance, a testament to their deep connection.
In the tender moments before the ceremony, Annika was surrounded by the warmth of her sister’s presence. Together, they shared laughter, whispers of encouragement, and the unbreakable bond that only sisters can understand. As her father walked her down the aisle, the gentle strains of a classical melody from Jurassic Park enveloped them, a melody that while beautiful was also a fun inside joke between the two of them.
With Allen’s father officiating the ceremony, their union became a tapestry of family ties and shared dreams. Their vows were said in the presence of her mother’s photo, honoring her memory and weaving her legacy into the fabric of the day. It was a poignant reminder that love transcends space and time, connecting hearts even in absence.
In choosing spontaneity, they allowed us to create a stress-free experience, showcasing the beauty of living in the present. Annika and Allen’s micro wedding stands as a testament to the magic found in the unplanned, a reminder to cherish every fleeting moment.

From the Bride:
We met through a mutual friend who said we were “perfect for each other”. Turns out that friend was right! We met once, and have been together since! Which was 4 years ago! We went to the movies the first time we met, then stayed in the parking lot until super late that night, just talking. Allen proposed on a cruise to Mexico. It was on elegant night, so we were both dressed up. He proposed on the deck over looking the water. Both of our parents were there, along with 4 of our close friends. We had planned a wedding for October, but decided to elope instead! It sounded more exciting!
I’m looking forward to marrying the love of my life! He is my favorite person in the world. Also looking forward to photos with my dad. He’s 79, and he’s my best friend. For fun, we love going to arcades together! Playing games, watching movies, taking trips together!
