Intimate Fall Wedding – Victoria and Richard

Intimate Fall Wedding

Victoria and Richard – September 5, 2021

For our first intimate fall wedding of the day, Victoria and Richard brought their families to witness their union. They dressed the chapel in blush and purple with the blush and marsala florals. Victoria’s daughter sang as her mother walked down the aisle and she did a beautiful job. Congratulations, Victoria and Richard!!!
From the Couple:
The bride had been married for 20 years and separated since May 2008. I was at a restaurant with some friends from my workplace and when I left a young girl come out calling me by my childhood name. It was the daughter of my middle and high school best friend. I had not seen my friend for the entire time I was married. We talked for an hour in the parking lot and she wanted to visit my parents. We planned a visit for the following weekend; however, my father’s health declined and he assed away November 1, 2008. I had met and was dating a man for a couple months that didn’t come to the hospital or the funeral. A few weeks after the funeral, my friend and I met to catch up and I was telling her my disappointment in the man I was talking to and how he didn’t take the time to be with me during the death of my father. I asked her, “Isn’t there any good men left in the world.” At that exact moment, her phone rang and it was her husband on his lunch break at work. She was letting him know where she was and what was going on in my life. She asked him the same question I had asked her. He said, “Actually, I have Rich here with me and he is a good man.” So they asked for my social media account (to see what I looked like lol) and decided that maybe we could go out and see if we connect. A few days later, Rich stopped by my place of employment with a flower and introduced himself. We decided we would go to my friend’s home to hang out for our “date”. He picked me up, pulled to the 4-way stop, put the care up in park, scooted over and full lip kissed me! I was thinking “this guy is crazy. This is a one and done date.” We visited with my friend and her husband (his good friend) and we we came back to my care it had started to snow. He pulled over to the street light, turned on a slow country song, took my hand, and we danced under the street lights in the snow. That saved him lol! We talked for some time, then in November 2009, I finally introduced him to my children. We dated and were married January 1, 2012. After approximately 1 1/2 years and some issues with family, we divorced. My daughter and I moved out (my son was in college). We continued to talk and work through issues and moved back in together in 2016. We are each other’s rock, soul mate, and love of lifetime. I can’t imaging this journey with anyone else. So we are here to marry each other again and continue this journey as husband and wife. We are each other’s Everything & Always!

He proposed. The first time he woke me up and asked me to marry him. This time, he wrote me a not and put it in a Christmas present. It said, “Will you marry me? ___Yes or ___ No My daughter found the venue and loved it. We love remote places so we thought it would be perfect for us.
We love to take weekend road trips, take drives and talk, or spend time sitting on the porch just being together. We go out to dinner and a drive or a movie. We may take a road trip and look for a new place to eat. He is patient and loving putting me first.
