Family Wedding Celebration – Kelly and Micah

Family Wedding Celebration

Kelly and Micah – April 2, 2025

Kelly and Micah chose Chapel in the Hollow for their family wedding celebration, surrounded by love and nature’s beauty, creating a day filled with joy and laughter!
They transformed the chapel into a rustic paradise, combining cream and dusty sage fabric with our delightful wildflower florals, enhancing the serene ambiance. To add a personalized touch, they filled jars on the pews with dried wildflowers, creating a charming setting for their vows.
Kelly looked stunning in her intricately patterned and textured white dress, perfect for a spring wedding. Micah complemented her style perfectly, opting for a laid-back yet stylish look with jeans, a tan dress shirt, a green vest, and a statement cowboy hat.
Their family was intricately woven into every part of their special day: Micah’s son took on the dual role of ring bearer and best man, adding a sweet personal touch, while one of Kelly’s friends proudly served as maid of honor. Her father’s walk down the aisle with her was a heartfelt highlight.
They chose their own officiant to lead the ceremony, making the exchange of vows even more special and intimate. The reception was graced with a beautifully adorned cake, set upon our wooden cake table.
After capturing an array of family memories, the newlyweds and I ventured out to the mossy tree, where we captured stunning couple photos, immortalizing their first moments as a married couple amidst the verdant Smoky Mountains.
Congratulations, Kelly and Micah! Here’s to a lifetime filled with as much happiness and love as was evident on your wonderful wedding day!
From the Bride
Micah and I met 8 years ago while I was a bartender at a local Irish pub. He happened to walk in with a group of obnoxious guys at the time I thought he was with them so I wasn’t the friendliest at first. We soon started talking and quickly realized he had no idea who they were and I had to come clean and apologize for being rude at first. We both got a good laugh and he finished his drink and left. I honestly thought I would never see him again but about a week later my friend invited me to a concert at a different bar in Milwaukee he said he was bringing his good friend with him. When I showed up to my surprise his good friend was Micah the guy that a week before had come in for a late night drink. We immediately started chatting and I knew pretty quickly that there was something special about him. It took a long time for him to ask me out on an official date. But we went to see the live action Beauty and the Beast.
Micah proposed the day after my birthday at the Milwaukee County Zoo under the bridge. I have always wanted to get married in the mountains and I loved the scenery in the Smoky Mountains. On our wedding day I am looking forward to getting married to my Best Friend and having our family there to celebrate!!  For fun we love to go fishing!!
