Shyann and Mitchell – September 19, 2022
Fall Micro Wedding in the Forest
Shyann and Mitchell joined us for a fall micro wedding in the forest. They dressed the chapel in white and hunter green fabric with our succulent florals and wreaths. Her gown was oh so lovely, and she had the cutest embroidered Vans on! He was crying before he even had a chance to see her. These two were just the sweetest! Congratulations, Shyann and Mitchell!
From the Bride:
We met my senior year of High School. Mitchell was friends with my step brother. When he would come over to the house he would make any excuse to talk to me and would spend most of his time talking to me. Our first date was a bonfire at one of his friends houses.
We booked a trip to East Tennessee around Thanksgiving 2021. Little did I know he had plans to Propose on this trip. He carried the ring everywhere we went in chances there was a better place to do it than he had already planned. Mitchell had told me he booked dinner reservations at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Asheville North Carolina. Dinner was going as normal, He excused himself, I of course didn’t think anything of it. We ordered dessert and the waitress brings out a chocolate heart that I need to break open. Inside was my gorgeous engagement ring. Mitchell could barely mutter the words “will you Marry me” from trying to hold back tears. I of course said yes and we both start getting teary eyed. After the proposal I learned he excused himself to give the waitresses the ring, his phone to record, and get the chocolate heart out of the car. He also confessed he poked his head in the bathroom so he could give me a detail of the lay out so I wouldn’t be suspicious!
We Chose Tennessee because we wanted to have a small destination wedding with the people we love most. Tennessee was the destination since we were staying in Tennessee when he proposed. We are just looking forward to having a great time with our closest family and friends and finally becoming husband and wife. For fun, we really love going on motorcycle rides and trying out new food places.
