Baileigh and David – September 24, 2022
East TN Micro Wedding
Baileigh and David brought their families to us for an East TN micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in white fabric with our bohemian florals. His jaw dropped when he saw her during their first look, and she looked adorable when she laughed so hard that her nose crinkled. Congratulations, Baileigh and David!!
From the Bride:
We met online, Facebook dating. I was in North Carolina at the time taking care of my dad (who was battling throat cancer at the time) and working remotely at my job in Wisconsin. After being here about a month I decided to start scrolling through online dating (as I had pretty much quit on meeting anyone online). David was actually the first person that I met online in North Carolina and we hit it off right away. For our first date, we met at blaze pizza for dinner. David was very sweet pulling chairs out for me and picking up the bill. We had a great conversation and ended up taking the date to Cookout for milkshakes where we sat in his car for several hours to continue with the great conversation. He very quickly set up a second date for the following weekend as at the time he was traveling weekly for work. From the first date on every time he wasn’t traveling we were together!
David proposed on Halloween in downtown Raleigh on a bridge with a great view of the skyline with his friends present. He wanted it to be a surprise so he brought me there with the premise that we were going on a date with his friends and that it was a big date for them. He had brought his friend Cristina to take lots of pictures of the proposal around Raleigh then we went to Firebirds afterwards for dinner and stayed in North Hills for the night. I’m most looking forward to sharing our love with our very closest friends and family. I love hiking and the mountains and being outdoors. Tennessee is the nearest mountains to North Carolina making it a great destination without being too far away for us. Everyone is coming from different places and has to travel anyways so we thought it was a great middle area for all of the people coming. Our first trip we took together was actually a quick weekend getaway to Gatlinburg in a cute cabin and we absolutely loved it! Chapel in the Hollow is perfect as we knew we wanted a small guest list for our special day. We wanted a fall Wedding and September was a great choice! I originally wanted to do it on my moms Birthday but we also wanted a Saturday (since my parents anniversary is on my grandmas birthday). It didn’t work out but September 24th is actually our cat, Giraffe’s Birthday (and since we love her very much its a great choice).
For fun, we love to adventure and travel. We love taking trips and exploring new places together we’ve taken tons of trips in our short time together (Gatlinburg, Milwaukee, Olympic National Park, Death Valley, Vegas, Indiana Dunes, Cedar Point, Louisville, Chicago to name a few). We both have a love of getting out and doing things and enjoying and experiencing life. We love trying new foods. We collect Bourbon so If we aren’t traveling we like to stay in and enjoy an Old Fashioned and relax and snuggle up with Giraffe.
