East Tennessee Winter Wedding – Kaitlan and Colbey

Kaitlan and Colbey – December 8, 2022

East Tennessee Winter Wedding

Kaitlan and Colbey joined us for an East Tennessee winter wedding. They dressed the chapel in white fabric with our red berry winter florals. She looked amazing in her flowy dress, and she brought an old navy jacket that she decorated along with a beautiful grey faux fur shrug to give her some options. They brought some biodegradable snow for a neat exit photo. It started raining after the ceremony so it got dark and moody, and they were willing to put the umbrella down for a bit to get some smexy rain shots. Congratulations, Kaitlan and Colbey!
From the Bride:
Our parents were coworkers and introduced us at the age of 13. We were each others first boyfriend and girlfriend when flip phones and minutes still existed. Time got ahead of us and we parted ways only to find ourselves reunited as adults. For our first date, we met at a local hang out spot in his home town. We sat in the parking lot and talked for hours. Colbey proposed on my 25 birthday. He invited our friends over to capture a photo because all I talked about for that memory was wanting a picture. I noticed everyone was acting odd so I went about trying to start the grill and get the food ready. I finally sat down and he popped the question. He was so nervous, he says he didn’t ever think I was going to sit down long enough. My grandmother has lived in East TN my whole life. It has always been a very special place and second home for me. It was mine and Colbey’s first getaway together, so we decided to get married in East Tennessee. We are looking forward to just enjoying the intimacy of having simple and stress free wedding.
